Senior Associate - Planning

A.    Job Purpose
•    Responsible for monitoring the progress of the check and ensure that all materials and goods required for production go into the right place exactly when they should.]

B.    Key Accountabilities
  Production Planning
•    Responsible to determine material, equipment, and labor requirements, prepare status and performance reports, and resolve production issues.
•    Addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production.
•    Recommending viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality.
•    Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
•    Planning and prioritizing operations in coordination with MRO to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
•    Plan and implement Boeing / Airbus aircraft maintenance programs and ensuring all mandatory airworthiness tasks meet regulatory and operational requirements.
•    Ensure accuracy of the reports and declarations sent by service providers and processes are followed.
•    Monitor spare movement and tracking with store in close coordination with materials management. 
•    Monitor maintenance forecasting and creation of maintenance slots.
•    Highlight all upcoming quarterly maintenance events to materials planning for spare provisioning.
 Team Management 
•    Coordinating production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability
•    Support team members in collaborating across multiple internal/external stakeholders.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

E. Key Interfaces

DGCA Representatives    •    Managing and ensuring smooth transaction of services with vendors and suppliers from planning to production

F. Educational and Experience Requirements

Minimum Education requirements    
•Engineering degree in Aeronautical or related field or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

Experience    
Minimum    
•    2-4 years of experience working in Planning
•    Experience in production planning is preferred    
Desired
•    4+ years of experience working as a production planner in an airline.
