Position Title: Associate – Tech Records

A. Job Purpose
• Responsible for managing and maintaining technical records to ensure all the records are accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible to the concerned stakeholders.
B. Key Accountabilities
Tech Records
• Manage and maintain technical records related to the Engineering Department, including but not limited to aircraft maintenance records, component records, etc.
• Ensure all technical records are accurate and up-to-date and comply with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Review technical records for completeness and accuracy.
• Work closely with the Engineering team to ensure technical records are completed on time and meet the required standards.
• Develop and maintain effective filing and documentation systems to ensure easy retrieval of technical records.
• Ensure the records which are scanned and archived are legible and easy to retrieve.
• Prepare reports for ARC, internal and external audits as and when required.
• Disposal of aircraft records as per the company procedures.
Component Management
• Monitor the component forecast and coordinate with the Planning team for timely execution of the component changes as planned.
• Coordinate with Procurement team for availability of the components for replacement on time.
• Ensure transactions in ERP are closed for the replaced components in time.
General
• Communicate and collaborate with relevant departments and stakeholders, including Maintenance, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to technical records/components for management and other stakeholders.
• Perform QC Data checks of the various information’s which managed by the technical records office and resolve any ambiguities, technical or other problems from Engineering, Operations and Crew
• Review, evaluate, approve, and process records and/or documents; determine acceptability; explain requirements, processes, and procedures to customers; manipulate and update manual and/or computerized records systems; and develop reports.
• Collaborate and liaise with Maintenance Planning and Engineering Departments in respect of component configuration and status.
• Define new aircraft and associated trees in the ERP.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Lead - Technical Records • Work with and assist with monitoring the continued effectiveness of the aircraft maintenance programs, including review and amendment of the Maintenance Control Manual, Systems of Maintenance, and the Minimum Equipment Lists.
External Interfaces
DGCA Representatives • Coordinate with DGCA representatives on matters related to reporting compliance.
F. Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education requirements
• Engineering degree in Aeronautical or related field or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
Experience
Minimum
• 2-4 years of experience in technical records/Planning/other engineering functions
Desired
• 4+ years of experience in a capacity handling records or document control in the Aviation industry
