oversee and ensure the strategic management, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency of aircraft technical records, supporting airworthiness, audit readiness, and contractual obligations through robust documentation systems and team coordination.

Manager-Tech Records is responsible for:

  • Oversee and optimize the operational efficiency and strategic management of the Tech Records team.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of all aircraft records with DGCA, EASA, and other airworthiness authorities.
  • Manage aircraft sales documentation and coordinate packaging of records for leasing, sales, or audits.
  • Maintain and supervise archival systems for aircraft records in accordance with contractual and regulatory standards.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and traceability of technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Planning, Engineering, and Quality for timely record updates.
  • Support audits and inspections by ensuring readiness and accessibility of required documentation.
  • Monitor team performance and training needs, ensuring staff are equipped to meet compliance and operational goals.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives for recordkeeping systems to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
  • Develop and enforce SOPs for documentation processes to ensure consistency and compliance across all aircraft fleets.

 

  • Liaise with lessors, auditors, and regulatory bodies during aircraft transitions, audits, and inspections.

 

  • Ensure timely updating of aircraft logbooks, component histories, and maintenance records in both physical and digital formats.
  • Oversee digital transformation projects related to electronic recordkeeping and document management systems (e.g., AMOS, eMRO).
  • Ensure traceability of all airworthiness directives (ADs), service bulletins (SBs), and modifications through proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Planning to ensure timely receipt and filing of completed task cards and maintenance reports.
  • Monitor document retention schedules and ensure secure storage and disposal of records as per regulatory guidelines.
  • Prepare compliance reports and dashboards for senior management and regulatory submissions.
  • Report operational metrics and compliance status to senior management and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and train junior records staff to build technical documentation expertise and ensure succession planning.
  • Support aircraft redelivery and sales projects by compiling and certifying complete historical maintenance documentation.
  • Ensure data integrity and security, collaborate with IT and Quality, and lead initiatives to improve records management.
  • Represent the department in cross-functional meetings to align documentation practices with operational goals.
  •  Such other duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Engineering degree or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. An aircraft maintenance engineer qualification along with appropriate DGCA license is preferred

8-10 years relevant work experience in aircraft maintenance or Planning
