Role Level:

 

Objective : Plan and deliver effective practical training to the students.

Key Responsibility : 

  1. Managing Labs / workshop operations and resources for the training as per CAR 147 / CAR 66.
  2. Ensuring quality training and “right first time” demonstration.
  3. Assigning tasks to students and mentor them to inculcate safety attitude within the students.
  4. Coordinating resources, ordering supplies, and managing invoices to ensure 100% availability of the workshops for practical training.
  5. Implementing and managing quality plan, communication plan, documentation plan, and risk assessments.
  6. Communicating with Training Manager, Examination Manager, Administrative Officers to maintenance of the Workshops.
  7. Encourage use of Technology and Innovations to improve the processes for effective competence buildup within the staff and the students.
  8. Takes part in admission process and supports the administrative personnel in managing the duties.
  9. Other functions as per applicable CAR and the organizational requirements

Desired Experience:

  1. Experience in Workshop setup, maintenance and experience in maintenance and imparting training.
  2. Strong understanding of aviation regulations and examination standards, including those related to engineer instruction and training.

Qualification:

  1. AME Technician’s Qualification preferably holding AME License.
    OR
  2. Engineering Graduate (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Aeronautical)
    OR
  3. Previously holding similar position and having experience in imparting practical training as supervisor.
