Job Description

  1. Job Purpose

Responsible to increase revenue by  developing and managing key accounts and fare strategy for assigned markets. 

B . Key Accountabilities 

        Cargo Sales

  • Should be able to manage the day-to-day contact with key account agents and corporates to generate revenue and increase cargo load factors.
  • Close liaison with all countries, station and  corporate stakeholders to ensure proper communication is maintained and focus areas are aligned.
  • Analyse actual and forecast demand, yield and revenues using different variables - such as point of sale, Origin & Destination, seasonality, type of product , holidays  etc
  • Liaise with GHA & airport teams on the network to manage operational requirements around flight capacity and special handling whenever required.
  • Maintain data base of the agents, corporates and market trends . 
  • Address feedback and complaints received from the agents and all stakeholders.
  • Liaising with Product Development Team  to facilitate onboarding of special category products.

       •  Building market intelligence on pricing to coordinate with Pricing and Revenue

          Management Team &Key Account Managers.

  • Oversee  RFP execution process for GSA & GHA appointment in  alignment with Company’s objectives.
  • Managing all aspects of cargo sales in the region in line with corporate strategy and targets for competitive edge.
  • Supervising GSA&GHA Contract execution to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and defined SLAs(e.g penalties and payments )including onboarding and trainings of GSAs into airlines system .
  • Liaising with GSAs and Key Account Managers  to explore OD synergies in key client development .
  • Establishing performance metrics and monitoring performance of GSAs in each country through daily monitoring of performance dashboards
  • Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR..

Educational and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s or Masters/MBA/PGDM/PGP/PG degree, preferably in marketing 

2years of experience in cargo industry

Prior Experience in international  Cargo sales
