Job Description

Key Accountabilities

Operational Coordination

Collaboration: Work with internal departments, freight forwarders, and ground handling agents to plan and coordinate cargo shipments effectively.

Routing and Allocation: Determine optimal routing, capacity allocation, and equipment utilization to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.

Documentation: Prepare and verify accurate cargo documentation, including airway bills, customs forms, and export/import documentation.

Compliance and Safety

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with international and domestic regulations, customs requirements, and security protocols.

Safety Adherence: Adhere to safety protocols, security regulations, and hazardous materials handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Process Optimization

Issue Identification: Identify and resolve operational issues and discrepancies related to cargo handling, transportation, and documentation.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to optimize cargo operations processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.

Engage with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth cargo handling, booking, and delivery processes.

Interface with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits, licenses, and approvals for cargo operations, always ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
