Job Description

1. Industry-Specific Knowledge

  • Experience in aviation logistics or air cargo operations.

  • Understanding of customs regulations .

  • Knowledge of handling perishables, hazardous materials, and high-value goods.

2. Operational & Inventory Management Skills

  • Expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and SAP.

  • Ability to monitor stock levels, reduce wastage, and optimize space.

  • Strong background in MRP, forecasting, and lean warehousing practices.

3. Leadership & Team Management

  • Experience in supervising warehouse teams, scheduling shifts, and training staff.

  • Ability to handle conflicts, boost productivity, and ensure workforce safety.

  • Communication skills to coordinate with procurement, airlines, and ground handling teams.

4. Compliance & Safety Standards

  • Knowledge of aviation-specific warehouse regulations (DGCA, IATA, ICAO).

  • Ability to implement and monitor safety procedures, including biometric attendance and security checks.

5. Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities

  • Capable of troubleshooting supply chain bottlenecks and optimizing workflows.

  • Strong decision-making skills for risk mitigation and cost control.

  • Data analysis proficiency to enhance efficiency and reduce delays.
