Responsible for overseeing simulator maintenance activities during assigned shifts
Ensure the proper functioning and airworthiness of simulators, adhering to aviation regulations, safety standards, and established maintenance procedures
Key Accountabilities
Simulator Maintenance Engineering
Manage and coordinate simulator maintenance activities during assigned shifts to ensure continuous simulator availability for training sessions
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system checks on flight simulators as per established procedures and maintenance schedules
Address technical issues promptly, conduct troubleshooting, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex problems
Assist in implementing the preventive maintenance plan for flight simulators, including conducting scheduled preventive maintenance tasks during shifts
Ensure strict adherence to aviation regulations, manufacturer's guidelines, and maintenance standards during simulator maintenance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
Prepare shift reports, including a summary of maintenance activities, technical issues encountered, and work accomplished during the shift
Collaborate with other members of the simulator maintenance team and technical departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork
Collaborate with other shift engineers and technicians to ensure smooth handovers and effective communication between shifts
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education requirements
Bachelor’s/ Diploma degree in Engineering and/or related field experience in an airline operational environment with appropriate DGCA license

Extensive and comprehensive knowledge of the airline/ airport operation and aviation industry
Prior Experience as Simulator Engineer for Airbus and Boeing Simulators
