Responsible for conducting maintenance, inspections, and repairs on flight simulators, including Airbus and Boeing simulators
Ensure the proper functioning and airworthiness of simulators, adhering to aviation regulations, safety standards, and established maintenance procedures
Key Accountabilities
Simulator Maintenance Engineering
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system checks on flight simulators to ensure their proper functioning and airworthiness
Conduct troubleshooting and diagnose malfunctions in simulator systems, avionics, and components
Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to address and resolve technical issues effectively
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, manufacturer's guidelines, and maintenance standards during all maintenance activities
Assist in developing and implementing a preventive maintenance plan for flight simulators to prevent potential failures and ensure consistent performance
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks as per established procedures
Work with the Manager - Simulator Maintenance and training department to incorporate relevant emergency scenarios into simulator training sessions
Conduct simulator calibration checks and maintain calibration records to ensure accuracy and reliability
Collaborate with other members of the simulator maintenance team and technical departments to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing
Identify and address any technical issues or discrepancies promptly in coordination with the Manager - Simulator Maintenance
Team Management
Lead the team and provide direction on execution / implementation of tasks by prioritizing functional and organizational goals accordingly
Build a strong and motivated team, ensure the right people are in place to foster positive team spirit and facilitate teamwork across the Safety function
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education requirements
Bachelor/ Diploma degree in Engineering and/or related field experience in an airline operational environment with appropriate DGCA license

Extensive and comprehensive knowledge of the airline/ airport operation and aviation industry
