A. Job Purpose
• Ensure Quality standards as specified by FSSAI/HACCP norms are adhered facilitating food safety
and hygiene worldwide.
• Assit in developing the Quality Management system, striving for best in class products and
business practices to deliver to the customer’s expectations, managing teams and projects across
the business.
• Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators across all areas of the business to ensure that all
activities are delivered on cost and on time to the highest quality standards.
• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental issues are prioritised and facilitate Lean Business and
drive Continuous Improvement across all quality related areas of the business in line with the
strategy.
• Hygiene check as per regulatory standards prescribed by various countries will also be under the
purview of this role.
B. Key Accountabilities
Define Quality Standards (20%)
• Assist Senior Manager - QA for developing the F&B Services quality & hygiene standards in line
with Regulatory requirements prescribed by various countries and Air India.
• Regularly Assist in preparation and updation of audit approach, on the basis of defined quality
standards and customer feedback received.
Conduct and Lead Audits (80%)
• Conduct audits at F&B service provider across geographies.
• Make sure the F&B service providers consistently follow Six Sigma to elevate service quality.
• Prepare observations and record audit activities as per defined checklist
• Draft gap analysis highlighting all deviations from the defined standards.
• Analyze and identify root causes for complaints received from various sources.
• Communicate gaps with the F&B service provider and align with AI stakeholders on a resolution
plan.
• Facilitate resolution for quality failures based on Root causes identified.
• Conduct audits while onboarding a new vendor (wherever necessary).
• Run random sample check for food & other products for Lab test.
• Train and monitor audit team for conducting audits as per standards and policy defined on food
and other F&B products.
• Act as a SPOC for Quality function and provide support to Operations team.
Business Management and Reporting (10%)
• Assist Senior Manager of QA in disseminating audit reports to required stakeholders
• Work closely with internal and external key stakeholders such as F&B Service Provider regarding
technical support of their activities.

F. Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education
requirements
• B. Tech (or equivalent) in Food Technology
Experience
Minimum Desired
• Minimum 5 years of
experience in operations of
large chain of restaurants as
Lead Auditor.
• Sound knowledge of audit
standards and industry norms
working.
• Execution of ISO standards
ISO 22000:2018, ISO
14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015
and FSSAI requirements.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Certified, Quality and Food safety
professional with all food
manufacturing (Beverage, dairy,
poultry).
