    Key Accountabilities

 

  • Unsupported image type.Ensure that the shift handover is captured, actioned and handed over at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Identify, organize for necessary tools, equipment’s, spares, etc. from other approved sources, when not available with Air India, in coordination with LMM.
  • Liaise with the Ground Support in charge, as per the requirement.
  • To coordinate shifting of aircraft position for revenue service as per Company requirements as and when needed.
  • To organize for manpower and material for the forecast maintenance. Any requirements to be raised accordingly as per the company procedure.
  • To impart necessary training and guidance for staff under their control on the usage and procedures in regard of tools and equipment’s, SOP, defect troubleshooting etc.
  • To ensure all maintenance is carried out to the highest standards with NIL audit discrepancies in adherence with all applicable safety norms.
  • To ensure compliance of company SOP's by all staff under his/her control.
  • To carry out all other duties as assigned by the Dy. LMM/ LMM.
  • Team Management, Responsible for ensuring that the regulatory requirements for staff Duty Time Limitation is compliant for all the Line Maintenance staff. Responsible for conducting competency assessment & annual appraisals of all Line Maintenance staff to assist them in improving their performance. Support, nurture and develop the team members’ skills.

Team Management:

  • Responsibility for ensuring that the regulatory requirements for staff duty time limitation is compliant for all line maintenance staff
  • Responsible for conducting competency assessments & annual appraisals of line maintenance staff to assist them in improving their performance
  • Support, nurture and develop the team members skills

 

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Minimum Education requirements

  • 10+2 (PCM) or Equivalent
  • Ab-Initio AME Training from a DGCA approved institution
  • Must be holding DGCA (I) AME License having Type Rating / Company Authorization on two or more category of Company Aircraft

Desired

  • 6 years of Aircraft Maintenance Experience on Transport Category aircraft in a scheduled airline
  • 6 years on Narrow Body (A320 / Boeing 737 family) and/or on Wide Body (B777 & B787))
