  1. Job Purpose 

The Technical Product Manager – The Co‑Brand Implementation role within Digital & Technology is responsible for end‑to‑end technology delivery of co‑brand partnerships, ensuring seamless system integrations, accurate loyalty earn/redemption, secure data exchange, and stable digital experiences. The role acts as the technology owner for co‑brand programs, translating commercial agreements into scalable, compliant, and resilient technology solutions.

  1.  Key Accountabilities 

Technology Ownership for Co-Brand Programs 

  • Define and Own technology implementation and delivery for all co‑brand initiatives (credit cards, partner propositions, earning/redemption use cases). 
  • Translate commercial and loyalty requirements into functional, technical, and integration specifications. 
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and scalability standards. 

System Integration & Architecture 

  • Drive integrations between banking systems, loyalty platforms, CRM, Digital Channels (Web/App), CMS, DWH, BI, and middleware.
  • Ensure accurate real‑time and batch data flows for membership sync, earn posting, bonus campaigns, and redemptions.
  • Review solution designs, API contracts, data models, and exception handling.

 Delivery Management (Build → Launch → Stabilize → Enhance) 

  • Manage Own end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle: design, development, SIT, UAT, production release, and hypercare. 
  • Plan and execute releases in coordination with DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams. 
  • Track delivery via project plans, milestones, RAID logs, and dependency management.
  • Quality, Accuracy & Controls 
  • Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation integrity for earn, burn, reversals, and adjustments. 
  • Define test strategies, edge cases, failure scenarios, and regression coverage. 
  • Support data assurance audits, issue root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.

 Stakeholder & Partner Technology Management

  • Act as D&T SPOC for banking partners and technology vendors.
  • Work closely with Loyalty, Commercial, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams.
  • Manage vendor deliverables, timelines, SLAs, and technical dependencies. 

Security, Compliance & Governance 

  • Ensure adherence to PCI-DSS, data privacy, consent, and regulatory guidelines. 
  • Support security reviews, penetration testing, and compliance certifications. 
  • Maintain documentation for solution architecture, integrations, and operational runbooks. 

Post‑Launch Optimization & Enhancements 

  • Drive optimization of co-brand journeys across digital channels. 
  • Support rollout of new features such as: 
    • Bonus earn campaigns
    • Tier accelerators
    • Digital onboarding journeys 
  • Portfolio migrations or re-branding
  • Improve system reliability, monitoring, and performance.

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

 

  1. Skills Required for the role  

Strong understanding of

• Strong experience in system integrations, APIs, batch processing, and data pipelines. 

• Working knowledge of loyalty platforms, CRM systems, payment ecosystems, and digital channels.

 • Understanding of cloud-native architectures, middleware, and DevOps practice

Leadership Interfaces

Provide regular updates to management on program progress, issues, and risks, and seek approval for any change in plans as needed.

Projects & Other teams

• Collaborate closely with project teams including developers, testers, and project managers to ensure smooth deployment of projects.

• Collaboration with the security team to address any security concerns or vulnerabilities during deployment and ensure that proper security measures are in place. 

• Plan and schedule deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing business operations.

Vendors & Suppliers

Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to manage tasks and support for deployment, such as software configuration, development, testing, or third-party services.

 

  1. Educational and Experience Requirements

Education

Graduate / Master degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, business, or project management

Experience – Minimum

10+ years of experience in Co brand card management, ecommerce business systems management, aviation IT, or digital platforms

Prior exposure to loyalty or payments ecosystems is highly desirable.
