Job Description for SuccessFactors Developer 

Overview 

A SuccessFactors Developer is a technical expert who designs, develops, and maintains cloud-based solutions using SAP SuccessFactors, a human capital management (HCM) platform. A SuccessFactors Developer works closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and end-users to understand the business requirements and translate them into effective and user-friendly applications. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop and configure SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Performance and Goals, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, and Onboarding. 

• Integrate SuccessFactors with other SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, web services, and middleware tools. 

• Perform unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing of the developed solutions and ensure quality standards are met. 

• Debug and troubleshoot issues and provide technical support and maintenance. 

• Document the technical specifications, design, and configuration of the solutions. 

• Stay updated with the latest features and functionalities of SuccessFactors and recommend best practices and enhancements. 

Qualifications and Skills 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 

• At least 2 years of experience in developing and configuring SuccessFactors modules. 

• Proficient in SuccessFactors tools and technologies such as Metadata Framework, Business Rules, UI Designer, Report Designer, Integration Center, and Extension Center. 

• Strong knowledge of web development languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and SAPUI5. 

• Experience in integrating SuccessFactors with other systems using SOAP, REST, OData, and SFTP protocols. 

• Good understanding of HCM processes and best practices. 

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 

• Certification in SuccessFactors is a plus.
