Job Description for SuccessFactors Developer
Overview
A SuccessFactors Developer is a technical expert who designs, develops, and maintains cloud-based solutions using SAP SuccessFactors, a human capital management (HCM) platform. A SuccessFactors Developer works closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and end-users to understand the business requirements and translate them into effective and user-friendly applications.
Responsibilities

Develop and configure SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Performance and Goals, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, and Onboarding.

Integrate SuccessFactors with other SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, web services, and middleware tools.

Perform unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing of the developed solutions and ensure quality standards are met.

Debug and troubleshoot issues and provide technical support and maintenance.

Document the technical specifications, design, and configuration of the solutions.

Stay updated with the latest features and functionalities of SuccessFactors and recommend best practices and enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

At least 2 years of experience in developing and configuring SuccessFactors modules.

Proficient in SuccessFactors tools and technologies such as Metadata Framework, Business Rules, UI Designer, Report Designer, Integration Center, and Extension Center.

Strong knowledge of web development languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and SAPUI5.

Experience in integrating SuccessFactors with other systems using SOAP, REST, OData, and SFTP protocols.

Good understanding of HCM processes and best practices.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Certification in SuccessFactors is a plus.
