Ensure planning and coordination of all aspects of ongoing SIM training requirements for Crew including initial, upgrade, conversion, and recurrent training programs, along with management and maintenance of all training requirements.
Key Accountabilities
Implement procedures to ensure all cockpit crew training is completed within stipulated timelines as per DGCA and company requirements.
Planning and execution of simulator training for regulatory checks, type/non-type training, gap flying, recency, and upgrades in line with OMD.
Coordinate and execute DE, TRI and LTC standardization checks.
Plan and execute special qualification training programs.
Liaise with DGCA FOIs for standardization checks and regulatory coordination.
Maintain accurate records of simulator utilization for invoice reconciliation; coordinate with vendors and internal finance for timely clearance.
Ensure daily release of simulator schedules with trainer and trainee details.
Monitor and reconcile simulator slot revisions with vendors.
Conduct weekly audits to verify correct data entry by the admin team.
Ensure crew training rosters comply with DGCA CARs, OMA/OMD/DPM, and internal policies.
Track training completion and coordinate remedial sessions for crew who fail or miss training.
Inform crew and stakeholders of simulator or flight schedule changes in accordance with company policy.
Coordinate with the rostering team to align pilot schedules with training targets, especially during Day Ops changes.
Plan trainer and trainee rosters and calculate simulator slot requirements for upcoming months.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure system functionality and resolve operational issues.
Ensure optimal utilization of training resources with equitable distribution of training hours.
Monitor crew line release against KPIs and escalate issues impacting training performance.
Create and analyze training data to assess performance, completion rates, and key metrics.
Prepare and share regular reports with management for informed decision-making.
Planning and managing of line training as per training footprint.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
