Job Purpose
As Lead – Narrowbody Aircraft Projects, you will spearhead innovation and set the strategic direction for cabin design, galley configurations, and seating solutions across our narrowbody aircraft fleet. This leadership role demands a proactive approach to collaboration with cross-functional teams, mastery in competitor analysis, and comprehensive oversight over the development lifecycle of cabin products. Your vision will directly influence the enhancement of the inflight experience for our customers, ensuring our offerings not only meet but exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
Key Accountabilities
Competitor Analysis and Industry Benchmarking:
Lead comprehensive competitor analysis and industry benchmarking efforts to identify emerging trends, best practices, and customer preferences at the industry forefront. Spearhead the strategic integration of these insights into the design and innovation process for the airline’s narrowbody aircraft.
Development Lifecycle Management:
Oversee and direct the entire development lifecycle for cabin, galley, and seating solutions, ensuring each phase, from conceptualization to launch, aligns with strategic goals and industry-leading standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration on Aircraft Configuration:
Lead cross-functional teams in defining aircraft configurations, fostering a collaborative environment to establish high-quality class/seat arrangements, lighting, and overall cabin features.
Product Improvement and Maintenance:
Set the vision for ongoing improvement and maintenance of cabin products, prioritizing customer satisfaction and aligning with evolving market trends.
Implementation of New Cabin Products:
Provide leadership in the implementation of innovative cabin products, ensuring efficient integration and alignment with operational goals.
Cabin Maintenance Coordination:
Strategize and oversee the cabin maintenance and upkeep schedule, ensuring optimal coordination between teams for maintenance excellence.
Feedback Consolidation and Process Review:
Champion the process of feedback collection, consolidation, and review, ensuring actionable insights lead to continuous improvement and excellence in product design and implementation.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Liaise with external design agencies or consultants to leverage their expertise and creative input for innovative product design concepts
Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement
Masters/MBA/PGDM/PGP/PG degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field
