Key Accountabilities
Strategic Initiatives
Align group airlines with strategic initiatives and applicable processes wherever applicable.
Ensuring continual improvement of flight operations policies (such as Career Progression Policy, Standards Manual, PPH etc) through regular revisions and incorporation of feedback from various stakeholders.
Maintaining and keeping up to date the Career Progression List and ensuring resolution of grievances when highlighted.
Compliance, Risk & Manuals Management
Provide support and guidance on implementing compliance protocols within operational workflows (such as PWC tools)
Regular review of operational procedures, manuals, and records to verify compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., ICAO, FAA, EASA, DGCA) and internal policies.
Tracking and managing non-conformances, facilitating RCAs (Root Cause Analysis) initiating corrective actions, and monitoring their effectiveness.
Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with non-compliance, conducting risk analysis of audit findings, and developing strategies to mitigate those risks.
Identifying areas for improvement in compliance processes and procedures, contributing to the development of best practices, and participating in relevant projects.
Quality Assurance and Audits
Conduct regular quality audits and reviews of all flight operations to ensure adherence to compliance and quality standards. Support establishing quality audit requirements.
Assist in the development of corrective action plans to address audit findings.
Facilitate audits and assessments (such as IOSA, TBEM etc), responding to findings and tracking the implementation of recommended changes. Assist in the preparation of audit reports and follow-up the audit findings and observations.
Maintaining accurate records of compliance monitoring activities, preparing reports on findings, and presenting data to relevant stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities, internal departments, and external safety organizations to enhance safety and compliance frameworks.
Align group airlines with strategic initiatives and applicable processes.
Support team members in their collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
Skills/Qualities Required
Expertise in Aviation Regulations and Compliance with experience in conducting audits and inspections.
Strategic Planning and Execution with Leadership in Quality Management
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills with an ability to work independently and as part of a team as well.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education requirements: Master’s degree in management, Aerospace Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field
Experience:
Minimum: 5+ years and Desired 8+ years of hands-on & people’s manager experience in aviation quality/compliance, or a related area, with extensive knowledge of flight operations regulations.
