JobPurpose
The Senior Manager will support the Head in developing and executing strategic transformation projects to enhance airport operations, improve cost efficiency, and elevate customer experience. This role involves leading specific projects, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with the overall strategic goals.

Key Accountabilities

Strategic Transformation & Innovation - Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize ground handling operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. Assist in transforming airport operations and manpower management. Manage outsourcing vs. insourcing strategies. Optimize operations in collaboration with other functions (ENG, SEC, LCC). Lead cost optimization projects at Air India network. Support station start-up and expansion projects. Drive group synergy initiatives with AIXL. Project Leadership & Execution - Oversee specific strategic projects from conception to execution. Develop and implement project governance frameworks. Ensure projects are completed within scope, timeline, and budget. Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership- Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure seamless transition and implementation of projects.

Compliance with aviation safety standards and regulations. Employee engagement and alignment with initiatives. Educational and Experience Requirements- Strong understanding of strategic frameworks with prior experience in aviation-focused. strategic projects (Preferred). Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of experience in the airline industry. Prior leadership experience in an operational role.
