To drive the development, execution and management of Air India’s interline and codeshare partnerships, in-line with Air India’s alliance strategy and compliance standards.
Manage all system-related activities for codeshare implementation, including configuration, testing, and the integration of codeshare schedules into Air India’s reservation and operational systems.
Key Accountabilities
Partnership Support
Take active ownership in maintaining and developing relationships with airline partners.
Agreement Management
Under the guidance of the Head – Interline / Codeshare, take the lead in negotiating and managing interline and codeshare agreements, ensuring they are aligned with Air India’s alliance strategy and compliant with international regulations.
Periodically review the agreements to ensure they are in-line with the current market practices and Air India’s alliance strategy
Operational Coordination
Aid in the coordination between the Pricing and Revenue Management teams to implement effective pricing strategies.
Collaborate with Network Planning and Revenue Management teams for timely implementation of codeshare flight schedules in the Sabre Codeshare Manager and GDS.
Actively work with Digital & IT, Network, Sales and Revenue Management teams to implement the codeshare agreements
Performance Analysis
Monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics related to partnerships, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
Compliance and Evaluation
Evaluate the viability of existing partnerships and ensure that all agreements are up-to-date and comply with regulatory standards.

Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, International Relations, or a related field.

Experience
3-5 years of experience in the aviation industry, particularly in roles related to interline, codeshare agreements, or alliance management.
Hands-on knowledge of reservations and DCS system.
5+ years of experience in an airline environment with exposure to airline alliances and a background in handling partnership agreements.
Knowledge of Altea Reservations, Altea DCS and Sabre Codeshare manager.
