  1. Job Purpose
  • Check for all anomalies in Pre-Ops window concerning aircraft rotation, proper tail assignment, Aircraft maintenance, aircraft base mismatch and Network Planning schedule integrity, ahead of upcoming operations and duly address and notify concerned stakeholders, resolving any potential disruptions concerning the above before the day of operations.
  1. Key Accountabilities

Aircraft Availability & Maintenance Plan Adherence D+1 to D+3

  • Work closely with the MCC and maintenance planning to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure that aircraft are available as required for flight operations.
  • Responsible for making Daily Base-wise Aircraft Availability Reports based on maintenance Plan/technical restrictions as received from Engineering Planning/MCC.
  • Work closely with MCC & Engineering planning to get Adjusted, amended, and managed maintenance slots as required to ensure compliance and schedule flexibility.
  • Coordinate with Engineering planning/ MCC and ensure each aircraft allocated lines of flying can legally fulfil that flying within the hours/cycles and checks.

Operational Compliance and Regulatory Adherence D+1 to D+3

  • Stay informed about regulatory changes, industry best practices, and safety recommendations within the specified time frame, incorporating updates into operational processes and procedures as necessary to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.
  • Advance action and intimation to mitigate any potential risk of disruption in the published schedule within the pre-ops window.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including network planning, maintenance, crew scheduling and airport operations.

  • Prepare various daily reports (such as Daily Disruption reports, Advance Planning Reports, slides for IOCC-Daily Brief, Pre-Ops Planning Agenda etc.) on network optimization, action taken and maintain record of the same.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to flight operations.

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
