A. Job Purpose

· Ensure planning and coordination of all aspects of ongoing training requirements for Pilots including initial, upgrade, conversion, and recurrent training programs, along with management and maintenance of all training requirements.

B. Key Accountabilities

Training Planning

· Implement all procedures and processes to ensure all training as per regulatory and company requirements is completed well within stipulated time for all Crew.

· Planning and execution of simulator & line training for regulatory training and checks, Type/ Non-type trainings, Gap in flying, maintaining recency and upgrades as per the footprint in OMD.

· Execution of TRI and the LTC standardization checks.

· Planning and Execution of special qualification training.

· Daily Audit check for crew planned for simulator and line training to ensuring that planned training is not in any violation.

· Maintaining trackers.

· Keeping records for sim utilization towards invoice tally. 

· Informing the crew and all concerned about the changes in their Simulator or flight schedule as per company policy.

· Releasing the daily simulator schedule to the trainers and trainees.

· Liaising with vendors in respect to the revised slots and reconciliation of simulator hours.

· Coordinating with rostering team about changes in pilot roster due Day ops changes to ensure training targets are met.

· Being up to date with Company policies/CAR requirements/OMD/OMA/DPM for ensuring compliance.

· Closing crew queries as per Service Now SLAs.

· Coordinating with concerned teams for system functionality and any other issue related to systems.

· Planning trainer and trainee roster.

· Ensuring optimal utilization of resources.

· Ensuring Line Release/Training completion as per KPIs.

· Ensure crew training rosters comply with all regulatory requirements.

· Conducting audit of all crew training records in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

· Track completion of training and ensure that appropriate parties are notified if a candidate fails or does not complete training, and coordinate with various individuals to set up remedial or additional training, as required.

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

D. Key Interfaces

Internal Interfaces 

Crew Departments · Coordinate with Flight Ops Training/Day Ops/Licensing Team/Roster Planning Teams to align on crew training and deadhead.

External Interfaces

Training Academy · Coordination with Training Academy for training slots.

E. Educational and Experience Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement · Bachelor’s degree and/or related field experience in an airline operational environment.

Minimum Requirement Desired

Experience · Preferred 1-2 years of relevant experience with experience in Aircrew Training Planning and Rostering · Extensive and comprehensive knowledge of DGCA CAR and Cockpit Crew Licenses · 2+ years relevant experience in Aircrew Planning/Training
