  1. Job Purpose
  • Ensure seamless execution on day-of-ops for Air India through real-time flight support for relevant stakeholders within IOCC, aircraft rotation, tail assignment & tracking, comprehensive operations oversight, and disruption management.
  1. Key Accountabilities

Functional Activities:

  • Serve as the pivotal link between OCC and all other relevant stakeholders within IOCC coordinating operations and providing real-time updates for all flights in the company network.

 

  • Coordinate flight operations on the day of operation, ensuring seamless execution of the schedule, including on-time departure and arrival, in-flight operations, aircraft movement, etc.

 

  • Responsible for assignment of aircraft to flights based on operational requirements, maintenance schedules, and performance metrics and actively monitoring and tracking aircraft status throughout the operational day.

 

  • Ensure adherence to laid down Standard Operating Procedures & operating instructions issued by the Department

 

  • Manage irregular operations (IROPs) such as delays, cancellations, and diversions, coordinating with relevant departments to minimize disruptions.

 

  • Stay up to date with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to pilot movements and document control.
  • Effective Planning to maintain On Time Performance with schedule adherence.
  • Establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships will all relevant departments in decision making.

 

  • Ensure prompt and correct updating of systems thereby ensuring generation of accurate reports with relevant information.

 

  • Preparation of performance reports for the management, giving them exact inputs of daily operations. Finalizing routing for the day ensuring on time performance and smooth operations, keeping in mind both operational and engineering requirements.

 

  • Guarantee that all operational activities comply with relevant aviation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies, ensuring the safety and security of passengers and crew.

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Minimum Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field

  • 4+ years’ experience in a related field, such as airport operations, air traffic control, or ground handling
