Manager - Human Factors (Training)
A.Job Purpose
- To lead the development and implementation of training programs focused on human factors in aviation, aiming to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance in flight operations.
- To oversee the integration of human factors principles into all training modules, ensuring that crew and ground staff are well-equipped to manage the complexities of human behavior and interactions within aviation environments.
B,Key Accountabilities
Curriculum Development and Enhancement
- Develop and continuously improve training curricula that incorporate the latest research and best practices in human factors. Ensure that training materials meet regulatory requirements and are adapted to the needs of Air India’s operations.
- Promote mental health awareness for staff engaged with Flight Operations.
Training Delivery Oversight
- Oversee the delivery of human factors training programs, ensuring that they are engaging, effective, and comprehensively cover safety, communication, decision-making, and workload management.
Research and Innovation
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in human factors research and training methodologies. Implement innovative training techniques that enhance learning outcomes and operational performance.
Strategic Initiatives
- Align group airlines with strategic initiatives and applicable processes.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone
project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
