Job Purpose
Support the Engine team in the management of engine-related activities, with focus on assisting with the acquisition, financing, and maintenance of aircraft engines. Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to engine performance, maintenance, and operations
Key Accountabilities
Support in Engine Acquisition and Financing -
Assist in the development and execution of strategies for acquiring and financing aircraft engines.
Help gather and analyze engine performance data and financing options to support decision-making.
Support negotiations with engine manufacturers, lessors, and financial institutions under supervision.
Conducting cost-benefit analysis related to engine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
Evaluating the financial impact of different maintenance strategies and investment decisions on overall operating costs.
Existing contract management -
Monitor administration of contracts ensuring timely action for any information or decisions to be taken as per timelines specified.
Troubleshooting for any issues in contract and maintaining constant dialogue with various stakeholders
Generating reports and presentations summarizing insights for internal stakeholders. Communicating analysis results effectively to facilitate decision-making and action planning.
Help maintain documentation and reports related to engine acquisitions, maintenance schedules, and performance evaluations.
Maintenance and Operations Assistance -
Assist in coordinating with Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) providers to ensure timely and cost-effective engine maintenance.
Identify optimal maintenance intervals to maximize engine reliability and minimize downtime.
Assess engine reliability and reliability growth over time by analyzing failure data, mean time between failures (MTBF), and other reliability metrics
Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to engine performance and operations, such as flight hours, cycle counts, and maintenance intervals
Collaborative Team Support -
Work collaboratively with the Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure alignment between engine acquisitions and maintenance plans.
Assist in stakeholder management by preparing materials for discussions with internal departments and external partners.
Work with the Engine Head to manage and ensure timely and smooth operations
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education - Masters/MBA/PGDM/PGP/PG degree, Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience
Minimum - 2-3 years of experience, preferably with some exposure to aircraft engine operations or related field
Desired - 3 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably with some exposure to aircraft engine operations or related fields
