Job Description

A. Job Purpose

Drive partnerships with key payment partners across International Markets  for both Air India and Air India Express
Deliver revenue and PAX targets for Air India and Air India Express ecommerce channels by ensuring high attach rates through payment led partnerships
Work with various internal and external stakeholders to develop tech capability to run best in class payment offers for both Air India and Air India Express. This will include BRD creation, partner shortlisting, evaluation, UAT and final signoff.

B. Key Accountabilities

Partnership Execution and Management

Assist in executing partnership strategies, including identifying potential partners, evaluating collaboration opportunities, and onboarding new partners.
Support the coordination and implementation of joint marketing campaigns, promotions, and special offers with e-commerce partners to increase brand visibility and customer acquisition.

Financial Partnerships

Exclusive Offers: Provide exclusive offers and promotions to customers who use specific financial products, such as discounts on flight bookings, cashback offers, and additional reward points.
Customer Support: Work with financial partners and internal teams to ensure robust customer support for payment-related issues, enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
Joint Marketing Campaigns: Develop joint marketing campaigns with financial partners to promote co-branded products and services, increasing brand visibility and customer engagement.

Non-Financial Partnerships

Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities that can drive e-commerce adoption for both Air India and Air India Express.
Identify and onboard partners to monetize the airline website and app.
Manage and nurture relationships with non-financial partners to ensure long-term collaboration and mutual benefits.

Market Awareness

Conduct thorough market benchmarking on partnerships to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the airline industry.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create impactful campaigns that boost market presence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the Marketing, Sales, Legal, Finance and Product teams to align partnership initiatives with overall digital objectives and e-commerce strategies.
Provide support in various partnership-related administrative activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and maintaining comprehensive records of all partnership activities.

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR

C. Skills/Qualities Required:

Understanding the competitive landscape.
Proven expertise in business development
Customer centricity
Keen understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce platforms.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools to evaluate partnership performance.

D. Educational and Experience Requirement:

Minimum Education requirement: MBA/PGDM/PGP/PG degree, preferably in Finance or Marketing.
Experience: Minimum 12 years experience in sales/partnership Management business development or related roles with significant focus on payment partnerships
Preferable experience in dealing with financial institutions in  international markets like US, Canada, UK, Europe, Singapore
