Manager - Destination Marketing and Partnerships
A. Job Purpose
Responsible for creating and leveraging a network of strategic partnerships with tourism boards, airports and diplomatic missions to market the airline’s network in India and international markets.
B. Key Accountabilities
Partnership Development and Management
- Execute and manage marketing partnership strategies with tourism boards, destination marketing bodies, airports and diplomatic missions and other such bodies to expand the scope of airline's promotion efforts.
- Pitch and secure promotion funds from these bodies. Ensure this funding stream remains a steady contributor to the airlines’ network and destination promotion budget.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and identify new potential collaborations that align with the airline's strategic goals.
- Help manage the budget allocated for partnership and marketing initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness.
Campaign and Promotion Execution
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement joint marketing campaigns and promotions that drive customer engagement and increase brand visibility in target markets.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of partnership initiatives and marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
ket Research and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct detailed market research to understand consumer preferences, market trends, and the competitive landscape in the airline industry.
- Use data-driven insights to inform and adjust partnership strategies and marketing activities to better target key demographics and consumer segments.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
C. Skills Required
Strong understanding of partnership management, digital marketing, and e-commerce strategies within the travel and airline industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships with partners and collaborating effectively with internal teams.
Proficient in using data analysis tools to monitor performance and make informed decisions
Creative and strategic thinking with the ability to execute marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences
D. Education & Experience Requirements
Minimum Education requirements: Masters/MBA/PGDM/PGP/PG degree, preferably in Marketing.
Experience: 5-6 years’ experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing, e-commerce, or partnership management
Desired:
- 8+ years’ experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing, e-commerce, or partnership management
Previous experience in the aviation sector or related industries is highly beneficial
