  1. Job Purpose
  • Facilitate a culture of collaboration and camaraderie among cabin crew members, ensuring a cohesive and motivated team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and safety standards onboard.
  • Act as a liaison between cabin crew and management, championing the needs and concerns of the team while aligning operational goals with a focus on crew well-being and engagement.
  • Oversee development of strategies to improve engagement, and manage programs designed to foster team members, including but not limited to retention, recognition, diversity, wellness, and other activities aimed at creating a positive workplace environment. Also, provide various administrative and operational support to the team.
  1. Key Accountabilities

Crew Engagement Coordination and Managing with Base Team:

  • Oversee development of tailored initiatives to enhance crew morale and teamwork, leveraging insights from crew feedback surveys and performance evaluations.
  • Manage collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate crew engagement strategies into overall company objectives and operational plans.
  • Manage base transfer requests raised by crew members, keeping it aligned with operational head count requirements.
  • Manage all crew wellbeing processes and connect with the crew to provide assistance as and when required.
     

Communication, Facilitation and Transparency Oversight:

  • Facilitate regular forums and focus groups to encourage open dialogue and collaboration amongst cabin crew members, fostering a culture of trust and inclusivity, to create awareness amongst crew members regarding policies and processes.

Administrative Management:

  • Manage collaboration efforts with stakeholders to facilitate all crew engagement activities and support the base team.
  • Collaborate with HR, Planning and admin team for passing timely information and closures of all process and per TA.
  • Oversee automation of process that is handled and under the purview.

 

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

  • Act as a point of contact for cabin crew members to address concerns, provide support, and facilitate communication.
  1. Educational and Experience Requirements

Minimum Education requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

Desired

  • At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in cabin crew operations, crew engagement, or related fields within the aviation industry.
  • 10+ years of experience in cabin crew operations, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Previous experience in conflict resolution, training and development, or performance management roles is highly desirable.
