Head of Training
Job Description
Key Responsibilities -

Manage and lead the training function team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management

Develop, implement, and manage training programs, including policies, procedures, evaluations and standards

Investigate and publish the Impact On-Training (IOT) when a defect is reported in the simulator

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements of DGCA and other relevant authorities

Manage the training program budget, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource allocation

Ensure adequate record-keeping of training records as per DGCA guidelines

Ensure that the ATO and all Simulator users have the DGCA issued User Approval for the device before the simulator is released to the Simulator user

Collaborate with other departments within the training center, including operations, maintenance, compliance, finance and support functions

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and technological advances related to training and regulatory
Desired Experience -
-
Experience in Senior training operations/airline operations/management roles with leading Indian/Global airlines
-
Senior pilot; Approved DE/SFI/TRI/TRE with 7+ years training experience and 15+ years of flying experience in Airbus fleet
-
Hold a professional license and rating(s), related to flying training courses within last five years
-
Chief instructor or equivalent in ATOs in India/Abroad
