A. Job Purpose
• Responsible for leading a team of engineers to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the airline's aircraft Engines/ Apus.

Off-wing Powerplant Engineer
• Lead a team of engineers to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the airline's aircraft Engines/Apus
• Develop and implement maintenance programs for the airline's fleet of aircraft engines, including Engine/Apu removal plan and coordination of maintenance activities with other departments.
• Review and approve maintenance work orders, technical data, and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Review and coordinate compliance with the Maintenance Service Agreement/shop Handling Guide.
• Develop and Oversees preparation of EO/WO/Task Cards pertaining modifications to be carried out on power plant /power plant components as decided by the Modification Committee
• Work closely with the maintenance, planning, and quality assurance departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other departments as needed.
• Ensure that all records and documentation related to maintenance activities are accurately maintained and up to date.
• Participate in investigations and root cause analyses of any engine-related incidents or accidents.
• Develop and implement plans for troubleshooting and resolving complex engine issues, including issues related to long term maintenance like fuel systems, ignition systems, and other critical components.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR

F. Educational And Experience Requirements
Minimum Education Requirements • An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Qualification Along With Appropriate Dgca License Or A Relevant Engineering Degree (Aeronautical, Mechanical).
Experience Minimum Desired
• 8-10 Years Of Experience In Powerplant Engineering Or A Related Field, With At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role • Knowledge Of Faa Regulations, Industry Standards, And Best Practices Related To Powerplant Engineering And Maintenance
