Job Purpose
The incumbent would be responsible for shaping and executing Air India’s leadership and professional development strategy. This role shall ensure that leaders at all levels are equipped to drive a high-performance, people-centric culture.
The incumbent shall also enable professional skills development of Air India employees to make them more productive & effective in their roles
The role entails diagnosing learning needs, designing and executing impactful learning / capability development interventions to scale, collaborate with key internal & external stakeholders to build immediate & long-term capability across the organization
Key Accountabilities
Lead design & implementation of overall Leadership Development strategy & initiatives / programs, aligned with business priorities and leveraging relevant learning methodologies for leaders and people managers across levels
Design & implement capability development programs for special talent groups like High Potentials, Critical role successors, women leaders etc.
Develop professional skills based on Air India’s competencies or otherwise to enable Air India employees to be more effective & productive individuals, thus succeeding in their roles and getting ready for future roles
Leverage interventions like learning journeys, immersions, coaching / mentoring programs, projects, feedback etc. to build capabilities in a sustainable way
Assist in developing a learning culture in the organisation
Plan and manage budgets optimally
Calendarize interventions and communicate the same to all stakeholders
Define, track and assess measures of success / impact of different learning interventions
Engage senior business and HR leadersto identify capability gaps and co-create impactful learning solutions.
Partner with HRBP colleagues across the life cycle of interventions. Collaboration is key in this role
Build a strong learning partner ecosystem and partner with them to build required organisation capabilities
Leverage digital learning tools & new-age methodologies (blended learning, simulations, social learning, etc.) to enhance leadership and professional skills.
Assess, develop and implement leadership development processes, tools, resources, solutions, and organization development interventions to achieve the overarching goals of the organization.
Lead the team and provide direction on execution / implementation of tasks by prioritizing functional and organizational goals accordingly.
Support, nurture, and develop the team members’ skills in all relevant aspects.

Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education requirements
Masters/MBA/PGDM/PGP/PG degree/diploma in Personnel/Human Resource Management from a premier institution
Relevant professional certifications shall be an added advantage
Experience
12-15 yrs’ experience with significant focus in leadership development, learning journeys & capability building
Rich experience in leveraging different leadership & professional skills development methods, coaching models, OB / OD interventions, AC/DC & digital learning tools
