Job Purpose

Drive continuous improvement in both Pilot & Cabin crew scheduling by conducting regular post-facto analysis and operational assessments to identify inefficiencies, deviations, and implement corrective measures.

Streamline processes by formulating and implementing standard operating procedures based on industry best practices.

Monitor & ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize resources to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Collaborate with Head Tactical Ops to implement coverage of flights, enhance operational effectiveness in the D+72 Hrs window, while maintaining regulatory compliance and fairness in the released roster.

Collaborate with Head Planning & Head Manpower Planning to implement strategic initiatives, enhance operational effectiveness by ensuring fairness and cost optimization in the end-to-end roster journey.

Key Accountabilities
Functional Activities

Ensure adherence to established best practices and operational standards, conducting post-facto analysis to identify deviations and inefficiencies in the day-to-day operations leading up to flights.

Accountable to Post Holders for maintaining the legal rosters, compliant with all the company and regulator requirements.

Ensure 100% compliance of crew rosters with DGCA and company regulations; monitor, report and escalate any non-compliance to Post Holders with reasons for deviation

Oversee the development and implementation of effective operational policies and procedures specific to the D+72 hours timeframe, aligning with the broader organizational strategy.

Conduct regular checks and assessments of operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to maintain a high level of operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Provide insights and reports on the performance of D+72 hours operations, utilizing data-driven approaches to present a performance view to the Head Tactical Ops.

Identify risks and opportunities related to Day of Operations, provide strategic recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities for continuous improvement.

Collaborate with team leads, department heads, and stakeholders to optimize processes, define performance metrics, and align with evolving regulatory and industry practices fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.

Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry best practices within the aviation pilot crew management domain, incorporating these insights into the operational control strategy and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory changes.

Collaborating with stakeholders on configuring Systems & Rules with changes in regulatory landscape

Ensure timely updates to DPM and SOPs, incorporating new regulatory or organizational requirements.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
