  1. Job Purpose
  • Responsible for developing and leading the implementation of CSR strategy within the aviation sector
  1. Key Accountabilities

Strategic Activities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine the company's aviation-specific CSR goals, priorities, and long-term vision.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify key social and environmental issues within the aviation sector.
  • Develop a robust CSR strategy that aligns with industry best practices and supports the company's mission and values
  • Collaborate closely with the Sustainability & CSR Head to ensure CSR efforts are integrated into the overall compliance framework
  • Lead in oversee all aspects of the company’s CSR program, including data collection, reporting and stakeholder engagement

 

Functional Activities

  • Build and maintain relationships with aviation industry stakeholders, NGOs, community leaders, and government bodies to drive effective CSR collaborations.
  • Establish partnerships that enhance the company's CSR initiatives and contribute positively to the aviation sector and local communities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of aviation-specific CSR programs that address identified social, environmental, and community needs.
  • Oversee projects related to community engagement, education, environmental conservation, employee volunteerism, and more
  • Ensure that CSR initiatives align with regulatory requirements and aviation industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the sustainability team to integrate CSR efforts with broader sustainability initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to align CSR goals with the company's commitment to environmental stewardship
  • Track and measure impact of CSR initiatives and develop and deliver compelling communications to raise awareness of our CSR efforts internally and externally
  • Foster a culture of social responsibility within the company

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

 G. Educational and Experience Requirements

Minimum Education requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Corporate Governance, or Law

  • 11-13 years of relevant experience in CSR
  • 13+ years of experience
  • Experience in the NGO & Development sector is preferred
