Eligibility for cadet Pilot Program

  1. Must be a citizen of India or OCI
  2. Age eligibility: 18 to 30 years
  3. Shall demonstrate good command of written and spoken English
  4. The minimum height should be 158 cm
  5. Must have the following educational qualifications: 
    High School Education Certificate ( National Institute of Open Schooling is also accepted) with 60% in 10+2 
    including 60% marks in each of the following subjects English, Mathematics & Physics 
     
  6. Candidates should be in good physical and mental healthCandidates will be required to clear a medical test (DGCA Class 1 Medical) prior to starting flight training

Selection Process for Air India Cadet Pilot Program

The Air India Cadet Pilot Program is designed to equip aspiring aviators with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to become confident and capable commercial airline pilots. With a structured curriculum and expert instructors, we guide you through each step of the journey, from the classroom to the cockpit.

Phase 1: Screening

The candidate applications will be evaluated based on the defined eligibility criteria

Candidates clearing this test will proceed to the next stage of the selection process

Phase 2: Online Assessment

The shortlisted applicants will undergo an online assessment to assess their cognitive & behavioural skills

Phase 3: Personal Interview

The shortlisted applicants from Phase 2 will be called for personal interview

Note: Applicants may reapply only after a cooling period of 3 months from the date of their assessment
