Job Description

  1. Job Purpose
  • Work closely with the HR Shared Services Team in the execution of documentation & verification to facilitate the end-to-end onboarding formalities of new hires in the best way possible.
  1. Key Accountabilities

Documentation & BGV

  • Custodian of the end-to-end process of documentation for new hires & background verification; work closely with the BGV vendors in this process
  • Collaborate for collection of data & documents of new hires and feed them into the new software and verification during the employee preboarding, onboarding and induction and ensure valuable & consistent employee experience
  • Drive the development of BGV policies & processes for Air India
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding formalities starting from document collection, data feed, legal obligation, document verification ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start to their roles
  • Creation of policies and employee handbooks for the purpose of onboarding documentation checklist and BGV
  • Execute all the documentation formalities including but not limited to offer release, offer acceptance, legal obligation, document collection, and training and orientation, etc.
  • Audit data and set up employee profiles in Success Factors Cloud system; assist with the coordination, preparation, and distribution of employee documentation
  • Coordinate with HR Operations Team to finalize lean systems and processes for documentation, record-keeping, Data management etc. with relation to onboarding & BGV processes

Team Management 

  • Create an atmosphere that promotes moral, ethical, and legal business conduct   
  • Ensure continuous interaction with Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning team to understand their training requirements  

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
