Supports the effective management and administration of the airline’s government and real estate contracts. This role ensures that these agreements are maintained in compliance with current regulatory standards and aligned with the airline’s operational objectives, contributing to smooth contract execution and efficient asset oversight.
Key Accountabilities
Functional Activities
Assist in reviewing and analyzing legacy and real estate contracts to identify areas for improvement, renewal, or closure in line with current business objectives.
Coordinate with legal and finance teams to support compliance of existing agreements with applicable laws, regulations, and financial standards.
Support the implementation of strategies for managing government contracts, lease agreements, sale deeds, and other real estate assets efficiently.
Maintain working relationships with government bodies and real estate partners, facilitating communication and assisting in contract-related discussions or issue resolution.
Assist in gathering property details and coordinating with internal teams and airport authorities for space requisitions.
Help prepare and track Letters of Intent (LOIs), ensuring timely follow-ups and documentation support for legal and finance teams.
Carry out handover-takeover procedures for properties under supervision, and ensure proper documentation and record updates.
Participate in site visits to identify underutilized spaces and assist in preparing surrender documentation and asset tagging.
Follow up with finance for recovery of security deposits and dues clearance, and support documentation for surrender-related activities.
Organize and update records of requisitions, approvals, HOTO, and agreements to support audits and compliance requirements.
Track contract performance and compliance, escalating concerns and deviations to senior team members for timely resolution.
Prepare and maintain reports and documentation related to contract status, financial impact, and compliance metrics.
Provide inputs to senior management on contract-related matters, including observations and data to support decision-making.
Liaise with local and regulatory authorities such as MIAL, DIAL, Municipal Corporations, and CIDCO to support approvals and ensure statutory compliance.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
