A. Job Purpose 

Responsible for supporting the strategic use of data and analytics within Air India's loyalty program. This role involves conducting detailed data analysis, generating insights, and providing analytics support to enhance program effectiveness, drive customer engagement, and improve retention.

B. Key Accountabilities

Analytics Implementation and Support

  • Assist in the implementation of analytics strategies that align with the loyalty program's goals, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Support the loyalty program by analyzing behavioral data, transactional information, and customer feedback to derive actionable insights.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Help develop and maintain analytical models that support decision-making processes within the loyalty program.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of program features and member benefits using data-driven insights to recommend enhancements.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and IT, to integrate analytics into loyalty program strategies and operations.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations that highlight findings, trends, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Market and Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis to identify best practices and opportunities for differentiation within the loyalty program.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in loyalty analytics to ensure competitive advantage.

Integration of Business Intelligence Tools

  • Implement and manage business intelligence (BI) tools to provide deeper insights into loyalty program analytics.
  • Extract data and visualize insights effectively, enhancing decision-making processes.

Innovation in Analytics

  • Explore innovative analytics approaches and technologies, such as artificial intelligence and real-time data processing, to enhance the agility and effectiveness of loyalty program analytics.
  • Pilot new tools and methodologies that could provide competitive advantages in loyalty management.

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

 

  1. Skills/Qualities Required

 

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other analytical tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of translating complex data into understandable and actionable insights

Knowledge of loyalty program dynamics and customer behavior analysis

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively across teams

  1.   Educational and Experience Requirements

 

Minimum Education requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Master’s degree preferred

  • 3-4 years’ experience in analytics, preferably in loyalty or customer relationship management.
  • Prior experience in the aviation sector is an added advantage
