Associate Manager Inventory Management

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure correct monthly accounting of all maintenance, inventory costs and timely closure of monthly accounts after accounting for all such expenses/provisions through AMOS/S4HANA systems
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for all products and materials in the organization, including conducting physical inventory counts and reconciling inventory accounts
• Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures for ensuring accurate accounting of inventory
• Ensure flight hours accounting is accurate and up-to-date
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure reliable and cost-effective inventory supply and maintenance services and their accounting
• Prepare and analyze reports on inventory and maintenance activities, including inventory levels, inventory turnover, equipment uptime, and maintenance costs
• Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process for inventory and maintenance expenses, and ensure that actual expenses remain within budgeted limits
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard inventory and maintenance assets, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the inventory and maintenance accounting function, and ensure that they are followed consistently across the organization
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in inventory and maintenance management, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that inventory and maintenance issues are resolved quickly and efficiently
