Role Name: Associate Manager – Stat. Compliance and Int. BRE

 

A. Job Purpose 
Proactive and detail-oriented Associate Manager to lead statutory compliance and good knowledge to manage International BRE claim. This role demands strong expertise in Provident Fund regulations, end-to-end payroll compliance, and liaison capabilities with both internal and external stakeholders including auditors and government authorities. The ideal candidate will ensure 100% timely statutory payments and initiate key registrations. 

 

B. Key Accountabilities 
Payroll Management
•    International BRE Management - 
o    End to end management of International BRE (Business Related Expense) related claim.
o    Ensure alignment of policy implementation.
o    Laision with vendor
•    Payroll Compliance & Statutory Governance
o    Manage end-to-end payroll compliance including deductions, filings, audits, and statutory returns.
o    Ensure 100% on-time payment of statutory dues including PF, ESI, PT, and LWF.
•    Provident Fund Management
o    Maintain expert-level knowledge of PF regulations and schemes.
o    Liaise with PF authorities for inspections, clarifications, and compliance updates.
•    Statutory Registrations
o    Initiate and oversee registration processes for LWF, PT, and ESI across applicable jurisdictions.
o    Monitor renewal timelines and ensure uninterrupted compliance.
•    Audit Coordination
o    Liaise with internal and external auditors for statutory audits.
o    Prepare and manage audit schedules, documentation, and responses.
•    Finance Collaboration
o    Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate statutory payments.
o    Support reconciliation and reporting of compliance-related financial transactions.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Statutory Filing Accuracy    Accuracy and completeness of statutory returns and filings
BRE Claim Processing TAT    Average turnaround time for processing International BRE claims
Audit Observation Closure Rate    % of audit observations closed within defined timelines
Statutory Registration Compliance    % of jurisdictions with valid and up-to-date registrations
PF Authority Liaison Effectiveness    Timely resolution of PF-related queries and inspections
Finance Reconciliation Timeliness    Timely reconciliation of statutory payments with finance records

F. Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education requirements     •    Bachelors/BBA/BMS/diploma in Personnel/Human Resource Management
Experience    Minimum    Desired
    •    6-7 years of experience in payroll statutory compliance (PF/ESI/PT/LWF). Deep knowledge in Provident Fund and liaison with PF authority.    •    Core payroll statutory compliance
