Manage and oversee regulatory compliance and other support functions within the Financial Planning & Analysis department of Air India.
Pivotal in providing financial support and analysis for regulatory compliance and various other business functions. Reporting to the Lead - Business Partner, the Manager will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and decision support for regulatory matters and other cross-functional initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Functional Activities
Manage and coordinate regulatory compliance activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards and legal requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights necessary for financial planning and analysis.
Act as the financial business partner to regulatory affairs teams and other specified functions.
Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for regulatory functions and other designated areas.
Conduct regular reviews and analysis to identify variances and opportunities for improvement.
Provide expertise in interpreting and applying regulatory guidelines to support decision-making processes.
Analyze financial data to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities.
Liaise with external regulatory bodies and represent the organization during audits and inspections.
Monitor changes in regulations and update internal stakeholders accordingly.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the Business Partner department, focusing on efficiency and accuracy in financial planning and analysis activities.
Drive the implementation of improvements to enhance overall financial processes.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education requirements
CA / CFA with professional experience.
Masters in business administration (MBA) is considered advantageous
