- Manage the accurate accounting and reconciliation of payroll transactions in financial records.
- Review and verify payroll inputs received from HR, including salary changes, bonuses, deductions, and benefits, based on source data shared, to ensure proper payment.
- Collaborate closely with HR to streamline payroll inputs and maintain the integrity of the payroll system.
- Prepare payroll-related financial statements and reports for management review.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors on payroll accounting and compliance matters.
- Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payroll processing and accounting.
- Stay abreast of changes in payroll-related laws and accounting standards to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices.
- Implement internal controls and procedures to prevent errors and fraud within the payroll function.
- Provide expertise and support to finance and HR teams regarding payroll-related inquiries and initiatives
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the efficiency and accuracy of the expense payment processes.
Review and approve employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to the company's travel & expense policy
