  1. Job Purpose
  • The position will be responsible to manage Audits via the ERP System (E.g AMOS).
  • Monitor compliance with DGCA CAR-M, CAR-CAMO, CAR-145, EASA, IOSA and company manuals.
  • Investigate engineering occurrences, and maintenance errors.
  1. Key Accountabilities

Functional Activities

  • Manage and administer audit schedules, audit records, findings, and closure activities through AMOS and other approved digital systems.

 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure audits align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

 

  • Develop and implement risk-based audit plans covering CAMO, AMO, line maintenance, base maintenance, suppliers, contracted organizations, and support functions

 

  • Develop risk-based audit programs to address identified areas of concern.

 

  • Conduct audits of operational processes and the digital solutions to evaluate compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

 

 

  • Ensure that operational activities and the digital solutions adhere to aviation regulations, safety standards, and other relevant requirements.

 

  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and communicate their implications to relevant stakeholders.

 

  • Maintain detailed and accurate audit documentation in AMOS.

 

 

  • Configure and maintain AMOS to prepare comprehensive audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.

 

  • Monitor compliance with approved manuals, including CAME, MOE, CMEM, Engineering Procedures Manuals, and associated regulatory documents.

 

  • Review regulatory amendments, assess applicability, and support implementation of revised regulatory requirements across Engineering functions.

 

  • Maintain accurate audit, investigation, and compliance records in approved systems

 

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal quality management systems.

 

  • Monitor adherence to established standards and procedures.

 

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure a coordinated and cooperative approach to audit activities.

 

  • Support regulatory, and internal audits and coordinate responses to findings raised by DGCA, EASA, IOSA, and other stakeholders

 

  • Provide training to staff on audit processes, compliance requirements, and best practices.

 

  • Monitor Engineering Safety Management System (SMS) activities, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety reporting.

 

  • Participate in development, review, and revision of Engineering Manuals, departmental procedures, and compliance documentation.

 

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

  1. Educational and Experience Requirements

 

Minimum Education requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of DGCA CAR-145, CAR-CAMO, CAR-M requirements, MOE, CAME, and Compliance Monitoring processes.
  • Working knowledge of aviation maintenance systems such as AMOS and other digital quality/compliance management tools.

Experience

Minimum

Desired

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Aviation Compliance Monitoring, Quality Assurance, CAMO, CAR-145 Maintenance, Airworthiness, Auditing, Regulatory Compliance, or Investigation functions within an Airline/MRO/OEM environment. Experience in AMOS and aviation digital systems preferred.

 

  • Experience in DGCA regulatory requirements, audit management, compliance monitoring programs, and closure of regulatory findings, including DGCA, and IOSA audits
