Specialist- Cargo Training & Development

A.    Job Purpose:-

  • To support the planning, delivery, and administration of cargo training programs in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • The role holder ensures smooth coordination of training schedules, effective record-keeping, compliance monitoring, and administrative support for all cargo training and certification activities.

       Key Accountabilities:-

  • Assist in designing, developing strategy, updating training programs and plans in alignment with IATA, DGCA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Identify training needs and propose development programmes for staff.
  • Assist in designing and developing training materials and development programs based on the organization’s needs.
  • Assist in periodic training syllabus/module reviews—internal & external.
  • Contribute to creating and implementing aggressive action plans to address repetitive training issues.
  • Coordinate training schedules, logistics, venues, and post-program follow-up.
  • Maintain training calendars and ensure timely dissemination of schedules to stakeholders.

  • Assist with supplier and external vendor relationships and ensure product training is conducted in a manner that adds value
  • Assist in budget tracking and resource allocation for training activities.
  • Perform department duties related to the role as directed by the Manager/Head of Department.
  • Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
