Job title: Associate Manager – Cargo Product Management

Location – GGN

Job Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and assisting the activities of Cargo product management from Cargo operations point of view. This role involves overseeing various aspects of cargo warehouse and Ramp operations including maintaining a strong relationship with GHAs while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards,

Key Responsibilities:

1. Core responsibilities:
   1. Planning & operationalization of new cargo products/services.
   2. Oversee the performance of CTO and Ramp team while handling any special cargo products.
   3. Guiding Cargo staff , cargo terminal operators ,GHA and all concerned regarding handling of cargo products.
   4. Creation and Implementation of operational SOP’s for new cargo products.
   5.  Ensure adherence to above operational SOP’s, standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
   6. Work on continuous improvement of products specific operational process, procedure, and implementation.
   7. Facilitate effective communication between internal teams, GHAs, and other stakeholders involved in handling of cargo products.

2. Regional ops and/GHA Coordination:
   1. Establish and maintain effective working relationship with Regional teams and Ground handling agents.
   2. Coordinate for different types of cargo products and handling associated with.
   3. Ensure adherence to operational standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Operational Excellence:
   1. Oversee handling and requirements related to all cargo products.
   2. Coordinate with internal teams, such as cargo planning, sales and documentation for smooth handling of cargo products.
   3. If require, assistance with other cargo operational requirements.

4. Regulatory compliance:
   1. Stay updated on industry regulations, safety standard and operational best practices.
   2. Implementation and adherence of all guidelines while performing air transport.

5. Required qualifications and skills:
   1. Bachelor’s degree in aviation, Logistics, Business Management or in a related field.
   2. Experience in Air cargo operations and knowledge of industry regulations.
   3. Knowledge of IATA-DGR & LAR will be an advantage.
   4. Analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize operations and address challenges.
   5. Proficient knowledge of MS Office.
