  1. Job Purpose

To oversee cabin crew leave administration and end-to-end salary inputs to HR with accuracy, timeliness, and policy compliance; to support crew induction, training progression, and line release for operational readiness; and to own CAE and roster-related system enhancements, business continuity requirements, and major roster changes arising from network and frequency changes.

  1. Key Accountabilities

1. Leave Administration and Payroll Coordination

•     Oversee cabin crew leave administration and end-to-end salary inputs to HR, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

•     Ensure compliance with company policy on leave and salary inputs at all times.

2. Crew Induction, Training Progression and Line Release

•     Support new crew induction, training progression, and line release activity to ensure operational readiness.

•     Maintain close control on training turnaround (TAT) days, ensuring trainees are inducted and released on time.

3. CAE and Roster System Enhancement

  • Scope is limited to CAE (crew rostering) and roster-related enhancements. Non-roster digital and technology enhancements sit with the Manager – Process, Coordination and Implementation.

•     Drive automation, system enhancement, and digital transformation initiatives specific to CAE and roster-related crew management processes, to improve efficiency and user experience.

4. Business Continuity and Major Roster Changes

•     Participate in business continuity projects and special assignments to support operational requirements.

•     Own major roster changes arising from new station openings and frequency additions at any station.

5. Process Improvement

•     Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Flexibility Clause: Any other additional responsibility may be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer, and HR.

 

  1. Skills/Qualities Required

 

Working knowledge of leave, absence and payroll administration policy

Working knowledge of CAE (rostering/hosting system) and roster planning logic

Understanding of crew induction, training progression and line release process

Accuracy and attention to detail under recurring processing deadlines

Coordination across business continuity and special assignment projects

Process improvement and problem-solving orientation

Salary input processing, leave records, policy compliance.

Manager – Business Process & Governance

Boundary coordination on system enhancements — this role owns CAE/roster; the Manager role owns non-roster DNT enhancements.

  1.   Educational and Experience Requirements

 

Minimum Education requirements

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree and/or related field experience in an airline operational environment

  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory documents and record keeping.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Cabin crew division
