  1. Job Purpose
  • Oversee and ensure the successful delivery of IT projects by leading development teams, managing project plans, monitoring resource allocation, and implementing best practices to meet stakeholder objectives and quality standards.
  1. Key Accountabilities

Strategic Activities

  • Lead development teams, collaborate with development partners and third-party vendors to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects.
  • Adhere to project scope, objectives, and deliverables which have been agreed on with stakeholders.
  • Manage the project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget considerations.
  • Monitor resource allocation and utilization, to ensure that projects are adequately staffed, and tasks are completed within established timelines and budget constraints.
  • Monitor team performance and provide guidance and support to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Provide regular project updates, status reports, and performance metrics to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and align with business requirements.
  • Implement best practices in testing, quality control, and validation of IT solutions.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the IT project management framework.
  • Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future delivery processes.

Team Management

  • Lead development teams including third-party vendors, collaborate with business stakeholders and other technology functions to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects.
  • Encourage a culture of learning and development.

 

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

 

  1. Skills Required for the role

Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools

Strong understanding of airline operations, industry regulations, and customer service requirements.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

 

Demonstrated success in managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion.

 

Good understanding of Agentic coding tools like Claude Code, Codex and other emerging tools

Exposure to the setup and usage of Agentic coding tools

Exposure to Agentic frameworks like Langchain

 

 

D. Educational and Experience Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • 12+ years of experience
  • 7+ years as a Delivery Lead, Project Manager, or in a similar leadership role.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and agile methodologies.
