A.    Job Purpose
•    Ensure the efficient monitoring and coordination of maintenance activities within the engineering department. This involves overseeing the execution of scheduled maintenance tasks, promptly addressing any unexpected issues or failures, and coordinating with various teams to ensure timely resolution.
B.    Key Accountabilities 
Aircraft Maintenance Coordination
•    Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely execution of unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with company procedures.
•    Monitoring Technical Status of Fleet using AHM, SHM, AMOS and other Tools.
•    Communicate effectively with maintenance teams to address any issues or delays.
•    Advises Aircraft Maintenance Engineers on actions to attend reported defects efficiently.
•    Keeps IOCC and other stakeholders advised of the expected time for return to service for an airplane on a maintenance delay.
•    Liaison with contracted AMO to ensure that delays resulting from maintenance activities are minimized and advice IOCC as appropriately.
•    Handle Technical events reported to MCC efficiently and make sure all pertinent information regarding the same is shared with MCC Controller and Duty Manager promptly and completely.
•    Coordinate AOG recovery by arranging all the necessary resources such as spares, men, materials and repair scheme in coordination with various stake holders and external MROs.
•    Coordinate with Engineering Quality for One–Off Authorization via telephone followed by fax/email.

Technical Support
•    Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel.
•    Assist in troubleshooting aircraft systems and resolving technical issues.
•    Support Engineering, Planning and Development, Line Planning, And QA teams in executing long/short term planning and in Monitoring of fleet maintenance operations ensuring aircraft are timely and safely maintained and released to service. 
•    Review maintenance documentation for accuracy and completeness.
 Task Coordination
•    Assist in coordinating maintenance tasks and schedules under the guidance of the senior MCC engineer.
•    Ensure timely execution of assigned maintenance activities by communicating effectively with maintenance teams.
 Emergency Response Assistance
•    Act as a backup point of contact during aircraft maintenance emergencies when necessary.
 
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Maintenance Teams    •    This interaction involves coordinating maintenance schedules, providing technical support, and ensuring that maintenance activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
Engineering Department    •    Collaboration with the engineering department is crucial for resolving technical issues, implementing modifications or upgrades, and ensuring that maintenance procedures align with engineering standards and specifications.
F.    Educational and Experience Requirements

Minimum Education requirements    •    Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
•    10+2 (PCM) or Equivalent
•    Type Rating on fleet aircraft.
•    AIRMAN & AHM Training
•    Human factor training 
•    Fuel Tank Safety
•    RAMCO Training
•    SMS Training

Experience    
Minimum    
•    3 Years’ experience in Aviation Maintenance Department    
Desired
•    4+ Years’ experience in Aviation Maintenance Control Center for large operators
