Responsible for the flow of unserviceable parts from Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities through the servicing and repair process.
KeyAccountabilities
Functional Activities
Collaborate with maintenance teams to accurately identify and segregate unserviceable parts for further servicing.
Collaborate with the Receipt and Dispatch team to coordinate the outbound shipment of unserviceable parts to external vendors for servicing and repair.
Facilitate clear communication with external vendors to ensure efficient turnaround times and compliance with repair agreements.
Establish a comprehensive tracking mechanism to monitor the progress of each part undergoing repair, from shipment to return.
Regularly update stakeholders on repair statuses, potential delays, and expected completion dates.
Work closely with Quality Control to ensure that parts are sent for repair with proper documentation and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Verify the quality of repaired parts before they are reintegrated into the inventory for consumption.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
