  1. Job Purpose
  • Follow up with DGCA for medical appointment for Indian and expat pilot and medical centre for pilot medical related query on daily basis.
  • Facilitation to Senior Bureaucrats and Government officials and support to customers especially during crisis.
  • Update on recent developments in the various regulatory offices / departments.
  • Filing of requests at Regulatory offices and maintaining MIS, records of all submissions, approvals etc.
  • Preparation and timely submission of various reports, responses to queries, documents etc. as sought by the regulators.
  • Facilitating meetings between stakeholders, agencies and organization.
  • Follow up with DGCA DMS for special medical appointment and TMU medical assessment on urgent basis.
  • Monitor the feasibility of the daily schedule, implement necessary amendments, and coordinate with internal stakeholders for schedule confirmation and slot approvals.
  • Track daily ad-hoc flight requirements and facilitate the process for obtaining landing permissions.
  • Follow with DGCA and Air force centre for MOD clearance for expat pilot.
  • Follow up with for e-GCA team for medical related issue on daily basis.
  • Responsible for engaging with governmental authorities and regulatory bodies to facilitate effective communication and ensure timely submission to response to the queries received from Govt. Agencies.
  • Facilitating meetings and cooperation among people, agencies and organizations.

 

  1. Key Accountabilities
  • Day to day follow ups with DGCA directorates like DAW, DAS, DTL, Medical and Training etc.

 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to formulate responses.

 

  • Assist in the seasonal schedule filing for own operations and code-share flights, including processing any subsequent changes.

 

  • Support the preparation of aircraft registration in various countries by coordinating with relevant stakeholders to gather required data and documentation.

 

  • Tracking of application of approvals/endorsement on EGCA portal and fulfilment of shortfall raised
  • Facilitating meetings, cooperation among people, agencies and organizations
  • Regular follow ups and coordination with officials of various Ministries and DGCA regarding official requirement/work.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with officials from DGCA, BCAS, other Ministries, and other relevant government agencies.
  • Securing / Renewing FAOC approvals, Codeshare approvals, Schedule approvals and aircraft registration.
  • Ensure the company's strict compliance with aviation regulations, including safety protocols, security measures, and operational standards set by DGCA and BCAS.
  • Support internal audits and assessments to ensure full adherence to aviation-specific regulatory requirements
  • Advocate for aviation policies and regulations that align with the company's objectives and contribute to a secure and efficient aviation environment.
  • keeping lists of the agencies or personnel representing the person, agency or organization.

 

  • Assist in organizing and facilitating meetings with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.

 

  • Identifying problems in communications among these groups.

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

  1. Educational and Experience Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree/equivalent and/or related field experience in an airline operational environment.

Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in dealing with Regulatory/ Corporate Affairs functions in Public / Private airlines

5+ years’ experience in government relations, regulatory compliance, legal affairs, within the aviation industry.
