Job Description

A.    Job Purpose
•    To assist in managing and supporting international cargo sales initiatives within designated domestic regions, focusing on executing strategies, handling client relationships, and ensuring alignment with Air India’s broader sales goals.
•    To support the regional cargo sales team by contributing to the development of international sales strategies, maintaining client communications, and facilitating the execution of sales operations.

B.    Key Accountabilities
Support in Sales Strategy Execution
•    Assist in implementing international sales strategies for the regions, helping to identify market opportunities and adapt strategies to local market conditions.
Client Relationship Support
•    Aid in managing relationships with international clients within the regions, helping to ensure customer satisfaction and address client needs effectively.
Performance Monitoring Assistance
•    Help monitor and compile data on the performance of international sales activities, providing support in preparing reports and analyses for senior management.
Market Analysis Support
•    Conduct supportive research on international market trends and competitor activities, contributing insights to the regional sales planning process.
Administrative and Operational Support
•    Assist with the administrative tasks related to international sales, including preparing documentation, handling correspondence, and coordinating meetings.

E.    Educational and Experience Requirements

Minimum Education requirements    •    BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
Experience    Minimum    Desired
    •    2-3 years of experience, ideally within international sales, preferably in the cargo or aviation industry.    •    3+ years of experience with comprehensive knowledge of cargo sales operations and client management, preferably with international sales exposure.
