Associate Manager - Cargo Operations

A.       Job Purpose

Assistant Manager International/ Domestic Operations is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the efficient movement of air cargo shipments. This position requires a combination of leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. He will work closely with the team to coordinate and enhance the overall performance of the air cargo operations in the station.

B.       Key Accountabilities

•         Supervision of the specified cargo activities of the station

•         Maintain safety / security / operations standards and ensure implementation of the cargo process.

•         Ensure maximum utilization of space in the aircraft and responsible for upliftment of cargo as per priority.

•         Responsible for meeting and understanding clients’ requirement.

•         Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders who have direct impact on operations.

•         Update reporting manager about the challenges in operations and assist in resolving the same.

•         The position requires being aware of and complying with his / her safety responsibilities and accountabilities as laid down in SMS manual.

Proficiency in relevant software and technology used in air cargo operations.

Proven experience in air cargo/ Logistics/ operations with a minimum of 6 years in a Assistant Manager/ Senior Associate role.

D.       Key Performance Indicators

Effective execution of Operations to achieve targeted Matrix     

Establish Operations SOP for specified tasks        

Monitor the SOPs to ensure efficiency       

Ensure Regulatory compliances in specified Operations process 

E.       Key Interfaces

Internal Interfaces - Regional Cargo Managers, Senior Cargo Manager, Chief Manager Network Operations, Regional Cargo Operations Team, Sales AM/ Manager.

External Interfaces - Third-part Vendors/suppliers,CTO/ GHA / Regulatory Agencies

F.        Educational and Experience Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement    -         Graduate preferably in Aviation Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Minimum Requirement -  Desired Experience       10+ years of experience in Core Cargo Operations
