A.    Job Purpose

•    To support the execution of commercial and cargo sales strategies within specified domestic and international regions, aiming to maximize revenue growth and ensure market competitiveness.
•    To assist in the management of all sales functions, ensuring alignment with Air India’s commercial objectives and operational standards across both domestic and international markets.

Key Accountabilities

Sales Strategy Execution
•    Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive sales strategies across domestic and international markets to drive revenue growth.
Client Relationship Management
•    Support in building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty across regions.
Performance Management
•    Help measure and analyze sales performance according to established KPIs, providing regular reports and strategic feedback to enhance sales effectiveness.
Market Analysis
•    Conduct thorough market research to identify growth opportunities and understand competitor strategies in both domestic and international regions.

Internal Interfaces
Team Leads and Sales Heads    •    Provide regular updates and receive strategic guidance. Collaborate on aligning regional sales activities with broader objectives.
Product Development and Pricing    •    Coordinate to ensure sales strategies are supported by appropriate product offerings and pricing models.
External Interfaces
Clients and Business Partners    •    Engage with key business clients and partners to negotiate deals and foster business relationships..
Industry Forums    •    Assist in representing Air India at industry forums and events to promote cargo services and expand network opportunities.

Minimum Education requirements

•    BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or other relevant fields.

Experience

Minimum    Desired
•    2-3 years of experience, ideally within the cargo or airline industry, with experience covering both domestic and international markets.    •    3+ years of experience with Comprehensive knowledge of cargo sales operations and client management, with proven ability to support complex sales processes and team coordination.
